How do I begin in planning my pefect cake?

First, determine what type of theme you're planning and what colors you would like to use.  Decide how many people you are inviting to your celebration.  Then look around at books, pictures, and the web to begin to give you ideas of what you like and what you dislike about cake designs.  You absolutely do not have to have a standard cake shape because we can do almost anything with cake these days and we can create our own custom shapes and dimensions.

How do you determine what cake size I need?

Different shapes of cakes feed different amounts of servings.  For instance, a square cake can be cut into more servings than a round cake.  So once you tell us what your projected number and budget is we work with you to come up with the right size cake you will need.

Buttercream or Fondant, what's the difference?

Buttercream is a smooth icing made from sugar which can be spread easily over the entire cake.  Fondant is also made of sugar but is more of a play-dough or pie dough consistency that can be used to cover the cake to a smooth finish.  We use only quality fondant that we make ourselves which ensures you have a good tasting product.

How far in advance should I order my cake?

We prefer you book up to a year in advance because certain times of the year, such as summer, get really busy and this will ensure your date is available.  However, we always try our best to work with you even if it's short notice as we understand everyone has varied circumstances.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we absolutely deliver.  We have delivered from Key West to Orlando and even further upon request.  It is highly recommended that we deliver wedding cakes due to the delicate nature of some of the designs.  Delivery charges are based on location.

Can you prefectly match my color preference? 

If you provide a color swatch, we try our best to match it.  All color applications are done by hand and not computer so we try to be as precise as humanly possible.

I have a very unusual request for my cake, can you help?

Absolutely, we welcome any ideas you have.  Whether you have a drawn picture or just an idea in your mind, we help bring it to reality and welcome the challenge.
